Our annual Leadership Retreat will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1st. All leaders in EMEC, Youth and Children’s Ministries are expected to attend. It will be a time to encourage and affirm one another as leaders and to work together on sharing our new vision and theme for 2009. Please RSVP Tracy Ho by Oct. 18th. Refreshments will be served at 9:30am and the program will begin at 10am.

Our annual Harvest Festival on Oct. 31st is fast approaching and we need your help physically, emotionally, and spiritually. On this evening, we’ll have a fun night of games and treats for everyone in the community. Sign-up sheets will be posted on the bulletin board so please give us your time and availability. Also, we will not be accepting any candy donations this year, but if you would like to contribute, please offer financially. You can donate during offering time by marking “harvest festival” on the offering envelope. Please contact Tracy Kwan for more information.
Join us at Chappell Farms (http://www.chappellfarms.ca) in Barrie on Saturday, Oct. 11. We will meet at 10:30am and end around 12-12:30pm. Admission is $9 for access to all activities including the wagon ride, haunted barn, corn maze and a pumpkin per person.
