Peddling Parables - Oct. 19th

Friday, October 12th, 2007

Next Friday, Oct. 19th, the youth group will be attending a performance of Peddling Parables at the Danforth Mennonite Church. This is a comical one-act play presented by the Rocky Mountain College Theatre Arts group.

Two simple peddlers hatch a scheme to become rich by retelling the stories of the one they only know as the Parable Teller. In pursuit of the Teller’s endorsement, they have arrived on a crowded hill where they begin to test their storytelling skills. They may never earn an endorsement, but what discoveries will they make as they stumble through parables with a power beyond what they ever could have imagined?

The performance is about 50 min. long and all are welcome! It is also pay what you can.

Location: Danforth Mennonite Church, 2174 Danforth Ave.
Date: Fri. Oct. 19
