Thanks to Pastor Sung, the Family Fellowship and the kind people of Sushi on Bloor for organizing our Father’s Day lunch. It was a joyful afternoon of delicious food and family!

Starting on July 1st, Sunday school will be breaking for the summer and Sunday service will begin at 10am. for all congregations.

This year our church has chosen to help support Mennonite Church Canada’s work in Thailand. Pat and Rad Houmphan are Mennonite mission workers ministering to the Isaan (Thai/Laotian) population in northeastern Thailand. They have served in Thailand for over 10 years and have planted 2 congregations.
You can read more about them here, and also learn about the work they’ve been doing in Thailand here.
Our church goal this year is to raise $4000 for this work in Thailand and we’re half-way there! On our anniverary Sun. June 24th, we will be collecting a special missions offering, so please mark Missions - Thailand on your offering envelope if you’d like to contribute to this. Also, please keep the Houmphans and their ministries in prayer.
Join us on Sunday, June 24th for a joint service as we celebrate TCMC’s anniversary. Service will begin at 10am. We will also be celebrating Pastor Sung’s ordination and there will be a congregational lunch to follow — not a potluck — so come on out for the celebrations!
There will be a CPR training course offered for all Children’s Ministry leaders and caregivers on Saturday, July 14th at TCMC from 9am - 3pm. The cost is $27.70. Please contact Tracy Ho for more information or to register. The deadline for registration and payment is July 1st.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered, performed and participated in this year’s Wolverleigh Community Festival. We couldn’t have done it without you! It was a beautiful day to come out and enjoy our neighbourhood. See you again next year!
