The English Ministry Summer Retreat will take place Aug. 3-6 at Sherkston Shores in the Niagara Peninsula on the shores of Lake Erie. This year, there is the option of camping in tents or staying in cottages. For more info please download the info/application sheet here.

Spaces are limited, so please reserve your space ASAP. Please return your form with a 10% deposit by Mar. 11, 2007. After Mar. 11th, the price will go up by $10 in each pricing category.

The Cantonese Summer Retreat will be taking place from Aug. 17 - 19. The speaker will be Rev. Frank Liao. The registration deadline is May 6th.

The Mandarin Congregation will have their annual camping retreat on the Aug. 4th long weekend at Jo’s Christian Family Campground. Please contact Deng for registration ASAP.

The Chinese congregation’s Family Fellowship will be holding a gardening workshop on Sat. April 28th. All are welcome. Please speak with Pastor Sung for more details.

There will be a spring cleaning day on Sun. April 29th. after service. Please sign-up with Grace Lee if you can volunteer. Lunch will be provided.

Have you wondered what your spiritual gifts might be? Or the different ways you could serve God? Then the Shape class is for you!

Alonso will be leading an 8 week course on discovering your spiritual gifts starting on May 6th. Classes will begin each Sunday from 9:45 - 10:45 am. till the end of June. Please speak with Alonso or Euming if you are interested in attending.

Our annual Street Festival will be happening on Sat. June 9th. Once again, we’ll be having community performances, yard sales, great food and fun for the whole family!

There will be neighbourhood meeting on Thurs. April 19th from 7-9pm. All are welcome. This will be an opportunity to discuss the festivities with our community.

Good Friday

The English congregation will be having a Good Friday service starting at 7pm. There will be a time of worship, reflection, communion and meditation. All are welcome!

The Chinese congregation will be gathering for dinner at 6pm. with service to follow.

Easter Sunday

There will be a sunrise gathering at Ashbridges Bay/Woodbine Beach (Lakeshore & Coxwell). We will be meeting at 6:30am. for a time of worship and meditation followed by breakfast at a local restaurant.

The joint Easter Service will begin at 10am. followed by a potluck lunch. Please bring a dish to share. There will also be a special offering collected for missionaries in Thailand. Please mark that on your envelope if you wish to contribute to that.
