Operation Christmas Child

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

Operation Christmas Child has officially kicked off at TCMC. We have 105 boxes to fill with gifts for a child in need! Challenge your families, your small groups, fellowships and friends to get involved so that another child, parent and family can be reached and told about God’s amazing love.

Contact Camillie for boxes and materials. Some suggested items are school supplies, small toys, soap, tooth brushes, and candy treats. For further information on this organization and packing tips go to http://www.samaritanspurse.ca/occ/

The due date to drop of boxes at TCMC is Nov. 12th!

Forsyth Family Farms

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

The air was cool last Sunday for our outing at Forsythe Family Farm, but we kept warm drinking hot apple cider and jumping from haystack to haystack.  Then we took a bumpy wagon ride to an Enchanted Forest where we strolled on a 20 minute trail. Eating candy apples, picking corn off the stalks, walking in a pumpkin patch, and running through a corn maze were some of the many new experiences that we enjoyed together!

Here’s some pictures from our trip:
