Rent a table to sell your hidden treasures or just come out an enjoy the festivities! For the kids we will have face painting, balloon animals, BBQ and a free bike tune up!

Teens Conference 2012

It’s back! And this year’s theme is “Cleansed”:

We shower, wash dishes, and clean up after our pets. We need to be cleansed on our daily basis. However, are there things that we can’t be cleansed from in our lives? Is there one thing that only God can cleanses us from? This year at Teens Conference 2012, discover how God has been at work in our lives and the ultimate cleansing work from our Sin in Ezekiel 37:23.

Junior (Gr.8–10*): March 12–13, 2012
Senior (Gr.10–12*): March 14–15, 2012
*Note if you are in Gr.10 you can choose to go to either conference, but you must pay the 2 registration fees if you want to go to both.

Fall clothing

The ladies clothing swap will be this Sunday at 1pm in the large Kidzone room.
Money and leftover clothes will be donated to the Red Door Family Shelter.

Operation Refuge

This winter, the Youth group will be assembling care packages for the homeless. To help us achieve our goal of 50 packages we will be accepting item donations in the youth room and hosting a fundraiser lunch in the Cantonese Hall.

TCMC 30th Anniversary

By God’s Grace, on June 27, 2010, The Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary. We cordially invite you and your family as guest(s) to come and celebrate this special occasion with us.

The theme for our church anniversary is “Our Journey in Faith” with the theme verse, Psalm 100:5, For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.

Please come and witness how our past and present members at Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church have walked their journeys in faith with Christ and the hope we hold in our future journeys. Our Sunday Service will start from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. We will continue the celebration with lunch provided afterward.

Painting Phase 2

Frank is at it again and has set up scaffolding to complete the painting of the front of the sanctuary. If you’re available to paint in the next 2 weeks, come on by the church! Frank will be there for most evenings between 8:30pm – 11:30pm. Contact him for more info.

Today we were blessed with having Willard Metzger come speak to our English congregation and share about his experience in Haiti when the earthquake struck.

Willard is director of church relations for World Vision Canada and also has a longstanding relationship with TCMC as he led our missions team to China many years ago.

Haiti Relief Kits

The Mennonite Central Committee is asking for donations to help make 20,000 relief kits to be sent to Haiti. You can find more info and the list of items here. The Thursday Night Cell group will be collecting items or donations to help buy the items. Please speak with Pastor Brian if you’d like to contribute.
